Talk Title: STEM and IR4.0 in Modern Adventures Classroom
ChM Lee Saw Im, is an excellent chemistry teacher with 34 years of teaching experience. She previously held the position of Senior Science and Mathematics Teacher and Acting Senior Assistant for Administration and Curriculum before being appointed as an Outstanding Chemistry Teacher. She is actively involved as a curriculum panel and Chemistry guidance module by MOE. Awarded by MOE Malaysia as an Iconic Teacher and Edufluencer as a role model for teachers. Her contribution has been recognised with the Glamor Women's Award for Individual Community Contribution. Also received the international recognition of the Global Teacher Award and the First Place of the Best Science Teacher in Southeast Asia. The SDGs applied in her classroom through project-based learning, the use of technology in teaching, and sharing with educators have brought her recognition as a recipient of the IKM Special Merit Award, MIE Expert, #cikgujuararadigital, Digital Generation Lead Teacher (GPGD), ClassPoint Certified Trainer and Ambassador Wakelet. She is the Vice President of the Malaysian STEM Teachers Association and the 4PSM WPKL Professional Committee enabling her to contribute in improving the teaching profession.

Cikgu Goh Kok Ming is an innovative educator, who was among the Top 10 finalists in Malaysia Teacher Prize 2022. He integrated Minecraft education edition, microbit and various Microsoft tools into his teaching and learning. He also started an initiative known as “kampong code”, that encourages students to build apps that help solve community issues. Him along with his students won second runner-up at Microsoft Tech for good challenge 2022.Recognizing the potential of technology in shaping the future of his students, Cikgu Goh has taken innovative approaches to empower them with digital skills. He has introduced his students to coding using platforms like App Inventor and Minecraft, enhancing their technical capabilities and nurturing their creativity and problem-solving abilities.
